In a nutshell:
Created website and accompanying branding work for young entrepreneur Fraser Doherty – the brains behind the innovative SuperJam product. He needed some web development and web design. Ryster served up a treat.
Challenge:
Jam. Once the stuff of ladies and their baking stalls at the Women’s Institute. So hardly a sexy creative opportunity. Well, until SuperJam came along. Super what? Yeah, SuperJam – the brainchild of ‘Jam Boy’ Fraser Doherty. Fraser was just 14 when his dear old Gran taught him the secret family recipe. At first a hobby, it’s now a serious business, with SuperJam making it onto the shelves at Waitrose. Time to create a super website with blog and e-commerce facility. That’s when Fraser teamed up with Ryster – to make sure his jam site didn’t get into a pickle.
Solution:
‘Jam Boy’ came to me with nothing more than a sketch. But my creative juices were soon flowing. Taking my cues from his branding – but with only a bunch of photos to work from – I created a simple but offbeat brochure site. Later I added an integrated e-commerce site for both individuals and stockists all over the world. A blog and newsletter facility completed the spread of functionality.
Result:
The sweet smell of success soon followed. SuperJam enjoyed enjoyed increased brand/product awareness including national TV coverage (BBC Scotland) and spots in national press (The Sun). Over time the site has helped ‘Jam Boy’ establish and build a large and loyal fanbase and customer base. Sign-ups to his newsletter have increased and the online shop has delivered double its original sales targets (a record amount of online orders). And I even passed muster with the now legendary ‘Jam Boy’: “Ryan did an excellent job for me. I have since recommended his services to other companies.” Fraser Doherty, Jam Boy.
